SIRCET is successful because of the support of its volunteers and community, and the generous donations of visitors and local businesses.
There are several ways that you can contribute to SIRCET and its work.

Sponsor-a-Hectare
Sponsor-a-hectare is an annually renewable sponsorship program that helps SIRCET fund the gap between volunteer efforts and the other resources needed for carrying out the Halfmoon Bay Habitat Restoration Project. In particular funding goes towards pest control efforts. Individual and business sponsors are invited to select their very own hectare to sponsor!

New Business Sponsorship opportunities!

|
Businesses are now invited to become Business Sponsor-a-Hectare sponsors, and have their logo displayed on the new Sponsor-a-Hectare map, located in the Rakiura Environment Centre. You will receive a SIRCET Business Sponsor logo to acknowledge your support of the project, as well as VIP invitations to events, our quarterly newsletter, and acknowledgement at both local and out-of-town SIRCET events.

Sponsor a Possum Trap: SIRCET has recently reviewed its possum control program and are in the process of installing 10 new humane, automatic kill possum traps from GoodNature, throughout the project area. We’re looking for sponsors to help us purchase the traps, which are already showing great results. Each trap costs $167.30 (inc GST), and your name or business logo can be displayed on our Project Map.

Operation of our SIRCET vehicle incurs significant costs to the Trust; you can help us maintain it through our new Vehicle Sponsorship Package. The package costs $2,000 per year and includes your business’ logo and contact details displayed on our trust vehicle providing great exposure in Halfmoon Bay, Stewart Island, as well as all the other member benefits and acknowledgement as a major supporter on our website, at Trust events and in the environment centre.
