Sponsor a hectare

Ever wanted your own piece of coastal paradise? Maybe a hectare in the bush with birdsong all day? Well do we have the deal for you! It may not be yours to keep, but by sponsoring a hectare you are providing a safe habitat for birds and plant life to grow and flourish. Your annually renewable sponsorship means that you are a member of SIRCET and most importantly you will have made a contribution to protecting a part of Stewart Island’s uniqueness.

The map below shows the project area. One of those hectares could be yours! We still have many hectares left to be sponsored but you had better be quick - prime spots such as the Stone Cottage and Ackers Point have already been snapped up!

Hectare sponsorship is $50 per hectare per year for individuals and $250 per year (5 hectares) for businesses. All donations are 100% tax deductible with receipts provided on request. Please use the form below to make a Sponsor a Hectare application.
