The Stewart Island/Rakiura Community & Environmental Trust (SIRCET) are looking for a part time Project Administrator. This is a home-based, year-round role which will usually be eight hours per week.
We are a non-profit organisation formed in 2002 by a group of Stewart Islanders enthusiastic about protecting and enhancing the environment and community of Stewart Island. Our mission is “to pursue projects that will enhance both our environment and our community”.
The Project Administrator manages communication, administration and education outreach within the community in relation to the Trust’s various conservation and education projects, They also manage the Rakiura Environment Centre, coordinate the Trust’s sponsorship program and fulfil administration and reporting duties. Access to a computer is required.
We are looking for a great communicator who can work independently and manage their time well. The role includes:
- event management
- website and social media
- conservation advocacy
- contract management
- project reporting
