Who we are

Our trustees

SIRCET’s board is made up of members of the local community. All trustees are volunteers who are passionate about SIRCET’s goals. The Trust is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the longevity and sustainability of the various Trust projects and making sure our goals and visions are achieved.

Our current trustees are:

Shona Sangster, Anita Herbert, Ulva Goodwillie, Emma Feenstra, Abigail Lovett, Jake Osborne, and Alasdair Burns.

We welcome new trustees, so if this sounds like you please get in touch.

Our employees

Keri Antoniak, Administrator & part time trapline support

Keri helps with a small amount of admin support, and for a day a week of looking after our traplines.

Emma Simpson-Boyce, Community Liaison

The Community Liaison helps to raise awareness of SIRCET’s activities, and educate and inform visitors of the work we do in the community. They work with both local and visiting schools aiming to inspire in tauira (students) a passion for conservation, and how they can contribute, not only on Rakiura, but with lessons they can take home to their own communities. This role has been funded by the Visitor Levy, and Save the Kiwi.
